Ronald C. Jones,
President of Global Technology Strategies, Inc.
(GLOBAL) and serves on the Board of Directors of SFA, Inc.
GLOBAL is an international provider of security & operations
services, reconstruction & stabilization services, and
enterprise risk management services for governments,
international corporations and the development community.
In his current role, Ron is responsible for the accelerated
growth, development, and success of GLOBAL's technology
companies in the United States, and the leveraging of key
security and defense technologies to support GLOBAL's
world-wide mission of strengthening national defenses,
stabilizing strategic environments, and assuring global
commerce for the US as well as allied and partner nations.
Prior to GLOBAL, Ron was Senior Vice President, Strategy &
Corporate Development, and a member of the Board of
Directors for Gray Hawk Systems, Inc. During his tenure at
Gray Hawk, Ron uplifted their corporate profile and
significantly increased their enterprise value by
consolidating four affiliated companies, upgrading key
skill positions in operations, finance and business
development, expanding EBITDA margins, leading a program to
deepen the portfolio of Intellectual Property (IP), and
leading a program for mergers and acquisitions. Gray Hawk
was sold to ManTech (NASDAQ: MANT) in 2005.
From 1995-2003, Ron was Senior Vice President, Corporate
Strategy & Development for Veridian (NYSE: VNX). He was the
chief architect, visionary, focus, and energy behind the
Veridian growth strategy that had grown and transformed
Veridian from a $100M, privately-held test engineering
company (Calspan SRL), to a $1.2B, publicly-traded
information solutions company. He was the leader and
driver behind the highly-charged Veridian Mergers &
Acquisitions program that, for over 8 years propelled the
company through renewal, transformation, accelerated growth,
an IPO, and a highly valuated strategic sale to General
Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
Barry
S. Landew, CEO, Wolf Den Associates, LLC
Barry S. Landew
is founder and CEO of Wolf Den Associates, LLC – a firm that provides
management and IT consulting to industry. Prior to founding Wolf Den
Associates, Mr. Landew spent 29 years at SRA International – the last
8 as Executive Vice President for corporate development where his responsibilities
included strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions (he led 8 acquisitions and
3 divestitures), corporate spinoffs, and major business capture roles.
He is a frequent speaker to industry groups and investors on federal market
trends, strategic planning, M&A, and the acquisition/procurement process.
He previously served as President of the SRA Ventures business unit, as
Senior Vice President for Federal business development, and as an IT Program Manager
and software engineer. During his tenure at SRA, Mr. Landew led the development
of SRA’s CMMI Level 3 ELITE™ system development methodology. Mr. Landew is a
graduate of the Johns Hopkins University. He resides in Fairfax Station, VA
with his wife, three teenage stepsons, and two German Shepherd puppies.
Personal interests include modeling of stochastic events, wine collecting,
lacrosse, fast cars, and the culinary arts.
Dr.
Gary R. Nelson, H&K Strategic Business Solutions
Dr. Nelson is
currently serving as an advisor to information technology
service companies in the Federal market in the areas of
strategic planning, business development, and mergers and
acquisitions. He is an advisor and consultant for H&K
Strategic Business Solutions and has worked in biotechnology
and bioinformatics. Dr. Nelson spent 20 years at SRA
International where he helped lead the information
technology services company from $2 million in revenues to
$300+ million, ending his tenure as Vice Chairman.
Prior to SRA,
Dr. Nelson served the federal government as the first
Associate Director of Compensation for the Office of
Personnel Management and was a Charter Member of the Senior
Executive Service. He also served as Deputy Assistant
Secretary of Defense and as an economist for both the Rand
Corporation and the Institute for Defense Analyses. Dr.
Nelson, a Ford Foundation Fellow, received his Ph.D. in
economics from Rice University.
Peter Trick, Senior Vice President,
Booz Allen Hamilton
Mr. Trick currently serves as the senior vice
president of Booz Allen Hamilton on the Civil Infrastructure team. He is
an environmental attorney and senior policy analyst with over 30 years of
consulting experience focused primarily on water pollution, natural resources
management, and international environmental management. Before joining Booz
Allen in 2010, Mr. Trick served as an officer at Systems Research and Analysis
International/Marasco Newton (SRA/MNG), Science Applications International
Corporation (SAIC), and Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI). Most recently,
he led four business programs supporting environmental protection, natural
resources management, emergency management, and international development.
In addition, he held management roles at the Environment Protection Agency,
Departments of State, Interior, and Agriculture, USAID, and Office of Personnel
Management. He also oversaw program development and implementation, training,
and systems development projects.
