As an employer, Vistronix chooses to support the communities
in which our employees live and work. This allows Vistronix
to support and participate in a number of different
community activities. Below is a listing of some of the
groups we support and the activities in which we have
participated.
Association of Indians in America
The AIA is the grassroots national organization of Asian
immigrants and their descendants. The AIA is fostered on the
democratic principle of "one member one vote", with chapters
and membership spread across the U.S. It represents the
hopes and aspirations of those immigrants who are united by
their common bond of Indian heritage and American
commitment. Its objectives are to concern itself with the
social welfare of Asian Indians in the U.S. and help them
become a part of mainstream American life; to facilitate the
participation of its members and others in the development
and progress of India; and to facilitate the involvement of
its members in American Community life through charitable,
cultural and educational activities. For more information on
the AIA, please visit
www.aia-dc.org.
Corporate Gray Series
Being surrounded by a number of military bases,
installations and detachments, it is only natural that
Vistronix would have some involvement with our military
community. As a corporate member of the Corporate Gray
series, Vistronix participates in a number of recruitment
and outplacement services that are focused on helping
military personnel and families transition to civilian life
after completion of service to our country. For more
information, visit

Families of Freedom
Established shortly after the tragedies of 9/11, this fund
raising organization co-chaired by former President Clinton
and Bob Dole raises scholarship money for the children who
lost parents during this difficult time. By recycling
business and personal printer cartridges, Vistronix is able
to contribute to this fund. For more information, visit
www.familiesoffreedom.com.
Hoop Dreams Scholarship Fund
The Hoop Dreams Scholarship Fund was established as a fund
raising activity focused on earning college scholarship
monies for hardworking Washington D.C. high school students.
Over the years, the major fundraising event of a 3-on-3
basketball tournament has become a great event for the whole
family. Basketball teams made up of staff, family and
friends have graced the courts over the years to help make
the tournament a success! For more information, visit

Northern Virginia Technology Council Foundation
The NVTC Foundation was founded to encourage and facilitate
corporate efforts to give something back to the community.

based in Northern Virginia that include technology as an
important component in their mission. The NVTC Foundation is
a charitable 501(c)(3) organization. Sponsorships are tax

Toys for Tots Annual Campaign
What can be more fun than collecting great new toys for kids
during the holidays?! In conjunction with our holiday party,
Vistronix staff members collect toys that are contributed
each year to the Toys for Tots campaign which is sponsored
by the United States Marine Corps. As our company grows, so
do our contributions to this great cause. Every year brings
a wonderful mound of toys that are soon enjoyed by children
across the country. For more information, visit

Trick or Suite
Cosponsored by Embassy Suites, this event is focused on
bringing some Halloween fun to seriously ill children who do
not have the opportunity to trick-or-treat with their
brothers, sisters and friends in surrounding neighborhoods.
Children from Washington DC metropolitan area hospitals and
care centers such as the Children's Inn at the National
Institutes of Health converge on an Embassy Suites Hotel for
trick-or-treating. Area businesses such as Vistronix sponsor
rooms for trick-or-treating. Our staff members come up with
a theme every year, put up the decorations and then hand out
the goodies to the kids. A great time is had by all -
volunteers and trick-or-treaters alike.
Washington DC Youth Tae Kwon Do Association Junior Olympics
A healthy mind and body go
hand-in-hand! Sponsorship of sports activities for our
children provides an outlet for growing strong bodies and
minds. Success in extracurricular activities is also
essential in the development of self-esteem and confidence
for our children. Vistronix proudly sponsors a number of
different youth sports organizations such as this. |
