Library Management

Vistronix has a successful track record of providing cost-effective physical and 508-compliant virtual Library Management Services to improve organization processes, enhance and centralize services, reduce costs, control access and to focus on the desktop access of information. We currently manage 10 Federal Agency library projects throughout the U.S, including the Environmental Protection Agency and the Federal Communication Commission. These projects involve the management of physical library materials and the development, implementation and maintenance of the advanced web-based applications such as database development and management, workflow tools, search and retrieval, and portal applications for library constituents. Virtually every one of our Libraries is considered a Special Collection library of a technical nature. Understanding our role as Library Managers and our interdependency on Subject Matter Experts (SME) associated with Special Collections, we not only exceed our goals, but we consistently receive commendations for our work. We do this by leveraging traditional Library Management methodologies against our experience to provide reliable, stable operations, as well as innovative process improvements in both the physical and virtual Internet spaces.
